Laboratory Switching Power Supply
Šneidr, Radim ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The topic of my bachelor´s thesis is a solution to a laboratory switching power supply, look at their benefits, disadvantages and characteristics in terms of EMI. The aim this work is also to design the concept of two outputs switching supply with monolithic circuit, LM2576 with the inclusion of a current limiter and implementation of a test version which will use basic measuring. Further, design a general scheme and the mechanical solution of a power supply including measuring modules. Design layout of printed circuit, complemented with thorough testing.
Adjustable switching power supply
Vyroubal, Rostislav ; Urbanec, Tomáš (referee) ; Baran, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to create a summary of the convertors, their principles, and to propose the convertor with specific parameters. The printed circuit board is designed for this convertor. Designed convertor is manufactured. Its specific parameters are measured and compared with theoretical parameters. A heatsink is designed for this convertor.
Switching LED drivers
Doležal, Miroslav ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
In this bachelor’s these are three basic typologies of drivers (step down, step up, step up and down output voltage) described. Five specific integrated circuits fulfilling the requirement for supplying LED diodes are selected. The output of this thesis is the design and construction of LED driver for supplying high brightness LEDs with 900 mA constant current.
Analysis of switched-mode LED drivers
Stehlík, Ota ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design, produce and verify the operation of two different LED drivers for automotive industry, which controls the ultra-bright white LEDs. At the beginning of a brief introduction explaining the principle of operation of LEDs. Furthermore theory describes the functions of all three basic drivers involved as buck, boost and buck-boost. Based on the requirements are selected ICs suitable for this implementation, theoretically described their block diagrams including the individual diagrams and eventually these samples are made, revived and measured their parameters.
Two-quadrant switching current source for inductive loads
Húsek, Jan ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
This master`s thesis deals with design and realization of two-quadrant switching current source for inductive loads. Output current adjustable range is 0 – 1A. Selected topology enables change of current direction. Current supply is made with TDA8920 integrated circuit. Thesis also contains basic information about switching supplies and coils.
Design and realization of switching class audio power amplifier
Levocký, Kristián ; Götthans, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes design of audio amplifier of class D with power 2x100W. Power part is designed with integrated circuit TAS5630B made by Texas Instruments and correction preampifier unit is regulated by four potentiometers , controled by integrated circuit TDA1524A. Switching supply is regulated by circuit TOP261EN. Whole device is installed in device box with graphic display and control components.
High efficiency control circuits for LEDs
Havlík, Vojtěch ; Máca, Josef (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design two different switching power supply circuits with integrated circuits suitable for controlling of LED. The theoretical part describes the principles of two main switching converters topologies – buck and boost. Furthermore, a universal H-bridge structure of switching supply is described. This is compared with the typical switching supply design. Based on specified requirements, two circuits are designed with selected IO which are suitable for using in the automotive industry. Their function and typical schema are described. In the practical part is realized design with both selected IC, choosing components and layout PCB. Set of tests are carried out with manufactured samples. Based on measured results are performed optimalization of samples, which are tested also. In the end of this thesis both samples are compared in terms of function, efficiency and EMC.
